As per described above, we would like to recall the Suzuki Hayabusa (GSX1300RM2) model for Front Brake Master Cylinder Replacement Recall Campaign.
1. Outline of problem and request to owner
Affected vehicles may have Primary Cup of Front Brake Master Cylinder swollen due to diaphragm contaminated with mineral oil. This condition may block the fluid passage. In this state, when the brake fluid temperature cools down, it creates a vacuum inside the brake system, pulling the caliper piston in. This might lead to the brake lever to feel loose, and the lever might touch the throttle grip, leading to an increase in braking distance.
When using the vehicle, please operate the brake lever and confirm that there is no abnormality in the operating condition including the brake lever play.
